History
The brand Andaz was launched in 2007 by Hyatt Hotels Corporation in London. As of September 2017, Andaz has opened 18 hotels worldwide, including London, San Diego, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, West Hollywood and New York. The Andaz Napa opened in California in September 2012. The first of Andaz hotels in Mexico, the Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, opened in December 2016.

Description
Andaz hotels are designed for upscale social encounters and blending with various artists. Andaz Salons are organized to spark those encounters. Discovering local cultures is the centerfold of Andaz.
Andaz Hotels do not have check-in desks. The check-in process is done at the bar with an employee using an iPad for registration.
