The Guestbook is a hotel booking site and a cash-based loyalty program for hotels that was founded in November 2013 by James Gancos. Gancos currently serves as the company CEO. Rooms booked through the program or directly through a hotel provide a cash rebate to the user of five percent through Paypal, gift cards, charitable donation, or ten percent towards a future hotel booking. In August 2016, The Guestbook represented approximately five hundred hotels, across fifty countries.
